I don't know

In this house lived the hero of the National Aviation, José Abelardo Quiñones Gonzales, who on July 23, 1941, offered his life crashing into the enemies in the fight against the Ecuadorians; his remains lie in the mausoleum of Las Palmas Air Base and on May 10, 1966, by Law of the Congress of the Republic, Captain José A. Quiñones, was declared a National Hero and at the same time was established on July 23 as the Military Aviation Day.

Since then, great efforts have been made to carefully protect each of the hero's belongings on display in this House Museum. In it the visitor can take a tour and know the different spaces where you can see photographs of the Hero from a very young age; With his parents, at school, with his friends in the neighborhood, at the air base, oil paintings and a giant photo are also shown, when he graduated making a low passage with the plane inverted.

The bronze bed, its dressing table with a sink, some bronze chandeliers for the lights, pieces of crockery, the dining room set, some vintage armchairs with marble decorations are also preserved. In the backyard a pedestal with the hero statue has been installed, and we find the plates from different institutions in tribute to José A. Quiñones Gonzales.

For lovers of reading it has a small library where you will find books and documents; This way they can learn more about the story of our hero.
